A new timer will be available to the Panel View and displayed on each order. This new timer starts counting when an order enters the kitchen and stops when last item on the order is delivered, supporting sites that need to understand how long customers have been waiting since the order was placed. Kitchen iQ Config settings will be enhanced, allowing Channel View settings to specify what Primary or Secondary timer to show, with the option of this new Total Kitchen Timer or the existing On Station timer.

To improve operational aspects, Kitchen iQ performance testing will be automated, to remove the current manual progress which is time consuming.

As we move to supporting Kitchen iQ in the FSA, we will implement the ability to securely authenticate to Zonal Connect and get direct access to Kitchen iQ Config through Single Sign On. This gives users access with a single set of credentials, allowing them to easily open Kitchen iQ configuration web page and make changes to all settings. This phase of development focuses on permissions for Zonal Connect to manage users.

Metrics will be available to inform users about the current performance and stability of the Kitchen iQ site server, allowing them to monitor and get alerted at an application level.

As we move to supporting Kitchen iQ in the FSA, we will implement the ability to securely authenticate to Zonal Connect and get direct access to Kitchen iQ Config through Single Sign On. Label printing will be supported in Kitchen iQ, allowing customers to configure settings to print and add labels to a delivery item with existing order details.

To support sites that need to see important customer details—like room numbers, allergies, or special requests, the first Delayed Order response entered via iOrder or Aztec will be shown on the Kitchen iQ ticket header in the Channels Panel View. This improves efficiency, without the need for users to expand order details.
